Beginnings
Faith Evangelical Lutheran Church was created by the Spirit of God on the night of November 22, 1960.
A strong group of believers and their pastor broke from their church in Cambridge, WI and the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod (WELS), because of the strife over the Doctrines of Church Fellowship and the Divine Call.
By the grace of God, Faith Evangelical Lutheran Church, was organized on November 29, 1960 and legally incorporated according to the laws of Wisconsin on January 22, 1961.
Faith officially was accepted as a member of the Church of the Lutheran Confession (CLC) in September of 1961.
At first church services were orginally held in a member's basement. Shortly thereafter, the congregation purchased a parsonage in Cambridge and worshipped there while they looked for a property where they could build a church building. Several years later, a 3 plus acre property on U.S. Hwy 12, which formally housed a restaurant, became available. Again, by God's grace, the congregation bought the property and renovated the building. Faith Ev. Lutheran Church had found a home.
Today

Today, by the grace of God, Faith Evangelical Lutheran Church still exists at the same location. Although the original founding members have gone on to their heavenly home, the congregation has been blessed with others eager to hear the True Word of God.
Our membership is small, but we are eager to share the good news of God's grace with you!
When you visit our church, you will find a wide range of ages within our congregation. On any given Sunday, you will find toddlers and preschoolers as well as grade schoolers, high schoolers and college age youth.
Our adults range from 20 year olds all the way to those in their 60's. We have singles, young families and empty nesters. Some of us dress casually in jeans and others are more dressy.
Although 50 years have passed since it's beginning, this congregational family of believers still adheres to the truth and purity of God's Word and continues to be blessed by God's grace.
Please visit us whenever the LORD gives you the opportunity. We are located a half mile East of Cambridge at W9460 U.S. Hwy 12.
Our Worship Service begins at 10:30AM (although on occasion, we have been known to start a bit later). We follow our Worship Service with a Fellowship Time, Bible Class and Sunday School.
Won't you consider joining us this Sunday as we worship our Savior?
As always, Visitors Are Always Welcome!
To God Be The Glory!!
