IN OUR PRAYERS: Pastor Jay & Cindy Hartmann and family. Cindy has been suffering from extremely painful migraines and is currently hospitalized in Texas for treatment. The pain of her migraines are above and beyond what a migraine is supposed to be and her pain is extruciating. We pray that the LORD would direct the DR's to find the combination of medicines she needs and that the LORD would relieve her pain quickly. We also pray that God gives both Pastor Hartmann, Cindy and their family, the strength and comfort that the need to get through this time.

CLC WORSHIP SERVICES ARE NOW BEING HELD IN: Appleton, WI. The worship services that were originally held in the Green Bay area, have now been moved to the Appleton area. Pastor Neal Radichel(Luther Memorial Church in Fond du Lac) and Pastor Paul Krause(Faith Lutheran Church in Markesan) are conducting the services, which are currently scheduled for the first and third Sundays of the month. Bible Study will begin at 4 pm, Communion Worship at 5 p.m. Location: Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 2220 E. College Ave, Appleton. WINTER FUN AT CASCADE: Mark your calendars for Saturday, February 25th! Anyone interested in going skiing or tubing at 5pm on that day please contact Craig Youngerberg or Pastor Neal Radichel (see below for contact info). Please sign up by February 14th so we can lock in a group rate. Cascade is located near Portage, WI and their website is www.cascademountain.com. We need *15* people to ski/snowboard in order to get a group rate of $16 per lift ticket and $12 for equipment rental (if needed). 12 and under get a free lift ticket, but will still need to pay $12 for equipment rental. People interested in tubing will be in a different group. If we have *15* people tubing, the rate will be $15/person (ages 7 and up) or $10/person (ages 6 and under) for a 2 hour session. *If we do not get 15 people to sign up:*Normal ski pricing without the group rate would be $25/lift ticket and $22/equipment rental. Normal tubing pricing is $22 (ages 7 and up) and $10 (ages 6 and under) for a 2 hour session. As you can see, the more the merrier!!! GRADE SCHOOL BASKETBALL TOURNAMENT: The 27th annual Grade School Basketball Tournament for CLC Youth will be held at Immanuel Lutheran College, Friday through Sunday, March 9-11, 2012. CLC congregations and schools interested in having teams participate in this tournament must register their teams with the directors no later than February 1, 2012. Please send team information to
Teams from Markesan, Mankato, Inver Grove Heights, and Eau Claire participated in the first tournament held at Immanuel Lutheran College March 1986. Since those first games, thousands of fifth through eighth graders with their families have made the trek to Eau Claire to experience Immanuel Lutheran College, enjoy Christian fellowship, and play basketball. Organized by Don Brandt and Pastor Dave Schierenbeck, the tournament has grown from eight games to thirty-nine games over a weekend. Teams from California, Arizona, the Rocky Mountain region, the Great Plains, South Carolina, and the Midwest as well as friends and relatives from all over have braved all kinds of early spring weather and travel conditions to be part of this yearly event. Three blocks of rooms have been reserved. Several other motels are available. May the Lord continue to bless this fellowship gathering for many years to come.
